Cons-Sainte-Colombe and the lime kilns Sunday, September 16, 15:00 (Fours à Chaux - Cons-Sainte-Colombe) The 19 th century limestone kilns were some of the most important in the Savoie. Cons-Sainte- Colombe, a small village located in the plains between Annecy and Ugine, restored its limestone kilns on the outskirts of town. An area has been set aside to teach about this industry that disappeared from Cons at the end of the 19 th century.
