Position: Farm Broadcaster KNEB‐AM/FM and the Nebraska Rural Radio Network have a rare opening for a Farm Broadcaster. We are looking for a friendly, motivated radio talent, with an agricultural background to serve as our next Farm Director. Our Farm Director is an integral part of our news department and includes numerous on‐air newscasts and features, as well as additional online features, including fully edited video productions. This position will also have the opportunity to contribute stories and filing reports for the Rural Radio Network including KRVN in Lexington, KTIC in West Point, and KTMX/KAWL in York. Salary will be commensurate with experience and talent. A degree in Agriculture or Broadcast Journalism is preferred, but not required. The perfect candidate will possess: Previous on‐air experience, including the ability to anchor news updates The ability to interview industry experts, government officials, and news makers. People skills necessary to represent KNEB and the Rural Radio Network at local, regional, and national agricultural industry events News writing, gathering, anchoring skills, and video producing skills. Experience with Adobe Audition and/or other basic broadcast audio software. KNEB is a member of the Nebraska Rural Radio Association. The NRRA has a superb defined benefits retirement plan.
