This is a unique opportunity for percussionists to witness first hand an accomplished musician demonstrating his craft here in the UK. Professor Moore will first present and discuss approaches to a range of marching and orchestral percussion instruments. He will then work with the 2005 DCUK championship percussion section, the Kidsgrove Scouts, in order to demonstrate some of the fundamental playing principals exemplified by the various marching ensembles he has worked with during his career. Jeffrey Moore received his Bachelor's of Music Education Degree and as Program Consultant/Percussion Arranger with several from the University of North Texas and his Master's Degree in European, Japanese, and Indonesian drum corps and bands.
