Gareth Phillips – Betstar KINGSFORD-SMITH – CARE TO Gareth Phillips – Betstar Thomas Hackett – bookmaker.com.au KINGSFORD-SMITH – CARE TO THINK – Race 7 No.3 (Brisbane) KINGSFORD-SMITH – IMPENDING – Race 7 No.1 (Brisbane) Cracking effort in the Doomben 10,000 to be only beaten two lengths Impending was only narrowly denied in the Doomben 10,000 and this after racing wide and not much vigour shown by his jockey. Changing always looked like the ideal race for him. The step-up in trip suits and to a hungry James Macdonald is perfect. he is set to peak third-up. BEST – LIVE AND FREE – Race 6 No.3 (Sydney) BEST – LEAN MEAN MACHINE – Race 5 No.7 (Brisbane) No horse here has much of a chance to contend with Live And Free He savaged the line when third in the Ken Russell Memorial Classic and it isn't hard to find out after winning by a big margin last start. The and he is a horse that has always looked as though he would relish the extra 200m won't bother him. step-up to 1350m. The wide barrier draw isn’t ideal, but he has ability. VALUE – ANOTHER DOLLAR – Race 8 No.5 (Brisbane) VALUE – THE WILDFLOWER – Race 3 No.9 (Brisbane) Was a huge effort to be beaten only a length by favourite Youngstar in A Group I placegetter in New Zealand and she has been freshened-up The Roses after being set an impossible task. Great chance to turn the since she finished a close third in the Auckland Cup. She has trialled tables from barrier two here. well ahead of her return and is well and truly over the odds. LAY – SHE KNOWS – Race 4 No.1 (Sydney) LAY – TYZONE – Race 1 No.7 (Brisbane) Larlabrook meets her 8kg better for beating her last September. He obviously won in impressive fashion at the Gold Coast last start, Carrying 62.5kg on her back is too much weight to be running around but that does look like a spike performance and I am more than happy against this talented field. to risk him at the skinny current price. BACKED – DARK DREAM – Race 2 No.2 (Brisbane) BACKED – SEDANZER – Race 3 No 7 (Brisbane) Impossible not to find him after his big margin win last start. Has been Her win in the Scone Cup was impressive and punters are confident from as high as $2.25 into $1.85 with us and will be a nasty result for that she can handle the big step-up in trip. She has been $4.40 into $4 and is now a clear favourite in the Premier’s Cup. the bookies. Wayne Symons – Unibet Matthew Campbell – Crownbet KINGSFORD-SMITH – ENGLISH – Race 7 No.9 (Brisbane) KINGSFORD-SMITH – IMPENDING – Race 7 No.1 (Brisbane) Can’t see a reason why this mare won’t win again, she has drawn the Just missed in the Doomben 10,000 and now third-up out to 1350m. inside barrier which will ensure she gets a similar run to her last win the Stradbroke distance which he won last year. Think he is even and the expected Friday rain will provide the ideal surface for her. better this preparation and will be hard to hold out at the finish. BEST – THE AUTUMN SUN – Race 1 No.5 (Sydney) BEST – LYCURGUS – Race 3 No.8 (Melbourne) Was impressive winning on debut here on Anzac Day and has been Good win here at the midweek meeting two weeks back and stays at kept up to the mark with a trial two-weeks back. Looks like he’ll eat up the same distance. Last prep he showed he can hold his form. Damien the 1400m here on his way to winning the JJ Atkins. Oliver takes over so nothing lost there as well. VALUE – SHEEZDASHING – Race 8 No.2 (Brisbane) VALUE – BALLET MASTER – Race 2 No.6 (Melbourne) This three-year-old hasn’t been able to win this prep but she has run Was caught wide first-up and actually held his ground to only be some excellent races in running second. The step up in trip here is beaten by two lengths. Has a perfect record second-up, the in-form what she needs and looks to get a soft run in behind the speed. Ben Melham takes the ride and is drawn ideally. LAY – ZONK – Race 3 No.4 (Sydney) LAY – HONEY ESPRIT – Race 8 No.4 (Melbourne) I’m not sure this mare is as good as we once thought and we will see Going along quite well but her winning form has been on soft ground her go around here as favourite. She has never won over this trip and and with some dry days around I’m banking on a good track Saturday. although she maps well the last bit will find her out. If I get that then she is a risk. BACKED – FALERINA – Race 4 No.11 (Sydney) BACKED – LUCKY FOR ALL – Race 6 No.1 (Melbourne) This filly from the Brett Cavanough yard resumes here in a Highway. Been brilliant winning his last three and like all Darren Weir runners She finished off her last prep with impressive wins in good time. holds his form, so punters continue to load up expecting another win. Punters have been keen to back her going into $3.90 from $4.80. Have seen a large push since the market opened. Anthony Kirk - Palmerbet KINGSFORD-SMITH – IMPENDING– Race 7 No.1 (Brisbane) Was unlucky to miss out to English last start. He should take improvement from that and will be right there in the finish. Scorched the turf at Doomben first-up and is a chance to repeat that here. BEST – THE AUTUMN SUN – Race 1 No.5 (Sydney) Chris Waller two-year-old which looked a smart horse winning on debut. Has had a trial since and looks ready to rock and roll. Barrier two and Brenton Avdulla are both big ticks. VALUE – SPECTROSCOPE – Race 4 No.5 (Brisbane) His two stablemates are much firmer in the market, but I think he can run a huge race at double figure odds here. Ran on well last start in inferior ground and will strip fitter here. LAY – FIFTY STARS – Race 9 No.1 (Melbourne) Has to lump 60kg here and was flattered last start when he got all the favours. $2.70 looks under the odds. Duality looks to be a smart horse and looks the better bet at $5.50. BACKED – DARK DREAM – Race 2 No.2 (Doomben) We opened at $2 and he has been absolutely smashed into a low of $1.70 after several big double figure bets and with even luck should be winning again. PRODUCED BY All care is taken in compiling this product but no responsibility will be accepted by RACENET. Ensure you Check official TAB sheets before placing a bet. Will Byrne - Sportsbet Clint Wallis - Neds KINGSFORD-SMITH – LE ROMAIN – Race 7 No.2 (Brisbane) KINGSFORD-SMITH – IMPENDING – Race 7 No.1 (Brisbane) Gets control of this race from the front with roughies Most Important Classy win resuming in the Victory Stakes, before a close second in and Monsieur Gustave. They should crawl to the 600m and then Le the 10,000 where he closed off well. Likely to settle in the second half Romain will have to fight off the contenders. of the field from his draw, and the extra 150m should benefit. BEST – DARK DREAM – Race 2 No.2 (Brisbane) BEST – DARK DREAM– Race 2 No.2 (Brisbane) Won by four lengths last start against a similar crew. Should start in He’s been absolutely flying this preparation, and last start was the red here and give them another beating. Will go forward from the completely dominant in the Rough Habit Plate against most of his wide draw and find a nice spot. Too good here and extra 200m suits. rivals here. Should roll to the front, and a repeat his performance. VALUE – THE MISSION – Race 9 No.1 (Brisbane) VALUE – SHEEZDASHING – Race 8 No.2 (Brisbane) Two wins from 18 starts doesn’t make for good reading but this Paul Has only won once from her 12 starts but has been merit in all her runs Perry galloper has been running around in Group I WFA races for a this preparation, especially the last start second in the Australasian while now. Long tail to this race too so double figures appeals. Oaks. This race doesn’t look any harder. LAY – SEDANZER – Race 3 No.7 (Brisbane) LAY – WHYPEEO – Race 9 No.2 (Brisbane) A talented mare but a tricky preparation for this race going from a Won the Mick Dittman easily when resuming, before finding slowly run mile race to a 16 runner 2200m one. Drawn wide and up a Champagne Cuddles too strong in the GC Guineas. Steps up to the couple of kilos Tim Clark will need to be on his game to get her home. 1350m here where he’s yet to win and has drawn wide. BACKED – PEDRENA – Race 6 No.7 (Brisbane) BACKED – LUCKY FOR ALL – Race 6 No.1 (Melbourne) Punters haven’t missed this. Going from $16 into $10, this galloper Has been dominant in three wins for Darren Weir since joining his returned in a hot Group I contest and should find this grade easier with stable. Punters are expecting him to make it four, has been $2.25 into also the benefit of the run. $1.90. It’s been impossible to write a bet for any other runner.
