Director Youth Theatre, visiting lecturer and researcher. 1999 – 2001 – , Lecturer in Theatre (full time) 1995 – 1998 – University of Plymouth, Associate Voice Lecturer 1988 – 1995 – Freelance performer, theatre practitioner, and music workshop leader. Clients include Musicworks Community Music, London, Camden People’s Theatre, London, Slederloj Youth Theatre, Belgium, Bebe Miller Dance, as well as various independent workshops.

2014: Arts Council UK and Bristol City Council funding for Lab, Scratch Showing and Premiere of four new solo works in Bristol, UK. (£14,000). In-kind funding received from partnerships with Bristol Old Vic Theatre (Ferment), Theatre Bristol, Trinity Arts Centre and Residence Collective, Bristol (equivalent to £6,000). 2014: HEFCE and AMATA funding for Solo Contemporary Performance Forum Development Lab at Falmouth University. (£2,000). 2014: Private investment funding ABOUT Corporate Finance awarded to develop new solo ‘Vibrato’ for UK tour in 2016. (£9,970). Matched research and development funding for collaborators being applied for from Arts Council UK (£6,000). 2011/2012: Awarded financial support from Falmouth University internal research awards, for writing of initial contract proposal for interview book (Palgrave) and project completion (PhD). 2005/6: Awarded HEFCE and Higher Education Innovations Fund (HEIF) research and development funding to establish the Solo Contemporary Performance Forum, two laboratory exchanges and premiere of three artists solo works at Dartington Arts. Travel research bursary to teach with Augusto Boal and the Brecht Forum in New York and with Jana Sanskriti and the Dancers Guild in Calcutta, India. (£4,000). 1993: Hogeschol fur de Kunsten, Amsterdam – European Development funding to attend training course in Kerala, India.

Performances

Numerous performances in scripted and devised group performance work, performed in the UK, Edinburgh Festival and Amsterdam. Venues include , London, Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, Cockpit Theatre, , English National Opera, Hall, Theatre Clywd, Bristol Old Vic Studio, Egg Studio Bath, Comedia, Brighton, Exeter Phoenix, Singel Theatre and Theatre de Liefde, Amsterdam. Also lead singer in several music groups, ensembles, working across jazz, popular music and folk.
