RANGER SMITH’S CAMPING POLICIES

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Campground Resort in Asheboro is a family oriented campground. We do our best to bring you the best camping experience possible while in the park. We expect that our guests treat everyone with respect and courtesy. Please consider others while you have a family-fun time.

The Asheboro Resort is brand new and growing. We appreciate you joining us in the beginning stages of this exceptional campground. As we expand and improve, there may be times construction equipment is heard. Please be safe and observe all signs indicating Zoned-Off construction areas. Entrance onto campground property constitutes permission to Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ to photograph visitors while on the premises, and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without payment to visitor.

General Policies:

All guests must check in at Ranger Station before entering park. All vehicles must display parking pass at all times. Only camping guests are permitted to use park amenities.

Site Type CHECK IN: CHECK OUT BY: Cabins Between 3pm and 8pm 11am RV and Tent Sites After 2pm – late arrival permitted Noon

Reservations/Cancellations:

Rates are based on 4 camping guests. Additional fee required for extra guests 6yrs and older. Maximum number of guests per site/cabin is eight (8) people. Maximum number of adults (18yrs and older) per site/cabin is four (4).

The full amount of your stay will be charged at time of reservation. If you want a specific campsite, you have the option to Lock Site for an additional fee. Cancellations require 14 days advance notice to receive full refund, less a $15 processing fee. Cancellations requested less than 14 days’ notice, but more than 5 days will be refunded less one night's stay. Cancellations requested with less than 5 days’ notice will not be refunded. Camping is an outdoor experience. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather.

Safety:

The speed limit for park is 5 ½ MPH. Quiet hours are from 10:30 PM to 8 AM.

Pool Safety: NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Swim at your own risk. All children must have parental/guardian supervision. No diving. On the waterslide, you must slide down feet first. No climbing on waterfall. No swimming alone. Proper swim attire required. A complete list of Pool Rules is at Ranger Station.

Personal electric powered Golf Carts are welcome. Guests must have Proof of Insurance with liability coverage and purchase an Annual Permit. Annual permits expire annually on December 31st. Only DMV licensed drivers are allowed to operate Golf Carts. Golf Carts and bikes equipped with headlights and taillights may be used after dark. Motorbikes, ATV's, Mini-bikes are not allowed.

All fishing is Catch, Selfie & Release. A NC Fishing license is not required. Swimming is not allowed in fishing pond.

Alcoholic beverages restricted to campsites only. Driving of any kind while drinking is strictly forbidden.

Campfires are permitted in grills or fire rings only.

All children (under age 18 years) are expected to be at their campsites under adult supervision during quiet hours. Children under the age ten (10) years must be accompanied at all times by an adult. Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children.

No smoking in any of the buildings. Fireworks of any kind are NOT permitted.

Pets:

Dogs are welcome. No more than 2 per campsite unless prior permission is granted. Be courteous in keeping your dog under your supervision, quiet, and leashed at all times. Be sure to Scoop the Poop! Any demonstration of aggressive behavior by your dog will result in being asked to leave. Animals (unless Service animals) are not allowed in any buildings or pool area. Dogs are allowed in designated Pet Friendly Cabins. Proof of vaccinations must be available upon request.

Courtesy:

Please travel along marked trails and roadways. Do not cut-through neighbor’s campsites.

All trash must be placed in the dumpster. It cannot be left outside or overflowing. Notify staff personnel if the dumpster is full.

Parking on campsite is limited to one camping unit and two (2) vehicles per site.

Camping courtesy in effect 24 hours a day. Please no loud music, profanity, or abusive language.
