WHY CHOOSE HAYLING ISLAND CLUB?

Hayling Island Sailing Club is located in a magnificent position at the mouth of Chichester Harbour. It is sited on a sandy peninsular with direct access to two superb sailing areas – the sheltered water of the harbour or the open water of Hayling Bay – which makes it an ideal venue for national and international championships. There are regular dinghy and cruiser races for a number of supported classes. At high tide it is possible to lay an Olympic course adjacent to the sailing club. The club is an ideal base from which to cruise in the harbour or the Solent.

We offer:-  First class dinghy & keel boat racing programme  Training in sailing and associated activities  No tidal restrictions  Choice of sheltered harbour or sea sailing  National & international championships  Experienced race organisation  Rescue facilities  Swinging moorings  Visitors’ overnight mooring  On site chandlery  On site accommodation  Bars, restaurant & snack bar  Family bar & over 18s lounge  Changing rooms and showers  Large dinghy & car parking areas  Full social programme

Whether you sail a dinghy, wind-surfer or keel boat, whether you race or cruise, our considerable depth of experience enables us to offer the best possible facilities, from organised racing and cruising events to a comprehensive menu in our restaurant; you will be impressed with our facilities and, most of all, our friendly club atmosphere.
