How would you describe what it’s like to play for Coach Smith and Coach Wozniak? NT: “Playing for Coach Smith has been a great experience. Playing for Coach Woz has turned into one of the best things that could have happened to me. He has helped shape me into the man I am today, on, and most importantly, off the field.”

Does your number mean anything to you? NT: “Initially it didn’t mean anything to me. But now that I’ve worn No. 81 for five seasons, it means a lot to me. To me, whenever I see that number, it reminds me of all the things I’ve gone through and dealt with during my time at OSU and it will for the rest of my life.”

What was your first impression of Oregon State when you were being recruited? How has that changed, if any? NT: “My first impression of Oregon State was, one, how close the team was off the field and, two, how much I liked the small-town environment.”

If you could meet any historical figure, dead, or alive, who would it be, and why? NT: “There is no historical figure I care to meet, but one person I would love to get the chance to meet again at this age, is my grandma who passed away when I was 2.”

Do you have any pre-game superstitions? NT: “No specific pre game superstitions for me, but I like to call my parents sometimes or wait for them to call (because I know they will) just to hear their voices.”
