WEST AND BOROUGH COUNCIL TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL (B5130 CHESTER ROAD, ALDFORD/CHURTON) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2018

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 50 mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:

B5130 Chester Road, Aldford/Churton – from a point 67 metres south of its junction with Green Lake Lane to a point 190 metres north of its northerly junction with Stannage Lane, for a distance of approximately 2140 metres; and

Lower Lane, Aldford - from its junction with B5130 Chester Road for a distance of approximately 750 metres in a southerly direction.

The Order will also consolidate existing speed limits.

Full details are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the extents of the proposal may be examined at the Council Offices, Ground Floor Reception, The Forum, Chester between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to the undersigned by 21st December 2018 and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Any representations made should specify the title of the Order and may become available for public inspection.
