NOTICE INVITING TENDER Nature of Work: Construction of New infrastructure, Major and Minor Renovation Works at existing Infrastructure, Routine and General repairs & Maintenance Works at Various units under DATTA MEGHE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES [Deemed to be University] DMIMS ( DU ) to be carried in financial year 2020-21 at Sawangi ( Meghe ) Campus Wardha. Item Rate based tenders are invited on behalf of the DATTA MEGHE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES [Deemed to be University] DMIMS ( DU ) from contractors in various category for various works as per the Annexure attached with this tender. The total Works is estimated to cost Rs. 31.98 Cr. for the financial year 2020-21. This estimate is, however given merely as a rough guide. The scope of work may be increased during the construction period and the contractor will be informed about the increase in quantities if any. Criteria of eligibility for selection of contractors. 1. Contractors are to submit technical and financial bid along with the other document specified hereinafter. The technical and financial bid shall be opened and evaluated and contractor will be finalized after detailed working and negotiations at DMIMS ( DU ) office Atray Lay Out Nagpur. 2. Agreement / Work Orders shall be drawn with the successful tenderer / Contractors in prescribed Form. Tenderer / Contractors shall quote his rates as per various terms and conditions of the said schedule which will form part of agreement/Work Order. 3. The time allowed for- carrying 'out the work will be depending upon the work and as per mutually agreed between and will be part of the Work Order / Agreement. 4. The site for the work shall be made available on award of work. 5. Tender documents consisting of prequalification documents, plans, specifications, the schedule of quantities of the various classes of work to be done and the set of terms and conditions of contract to be completed with by the contractor whose tender may be accepted in the office DATTA MEGHE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES [Deemed to be University] DMIMS ( DU ) Atrey Lay-out between Working hours of 10.30 A.M. & 04.00 P.M. every day except on Sundays and Public Holidays. 6. Tenders including Item Rate List , should be submitted in sealed envelope, with the name of work for which Contractor is Appling for Execution. All the tenders will be opened by the Authorized representative of DATTA MEGHE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES [Deemed to be University] DMIMS ( DU ) in their office. The main envelop shall contain both technical as well as Financial bid. 7. The tender shall be accompanied by earnest money. Of Rs. NIL. The Earnest money in case taken at the time of execution of Work Order / Agreement of the successful tenderer to be converted into the Security deposit and will be refunded after completion of defect liability period as defined in Work Order / Agreement 8. The DATTA MEGHE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES [Deemed to be University] DMIMS ( DU ) does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other tender and reserves its right to reject any or all of the tenders received without the assignment of a reason. All tenders in which any of the prescribed conditions are not fulfilled or are incomplete any respect are liable to be rejected. 9. The DATTA MEGHE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES [Deemed to be University] DMIMS ( DU ) reserves the right of accepting the whole or any part of the tender and the tenderer shall be bound to perform the same at the rate quoted. 10. The written agreement / Work Order to be entered into between the contractor and the DATTA MEGHE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES [Deemed to be University] DMIMS ( DU ) shall be the foundation of the rights of both the parties and contract shall not be deemed to be complete until the agreement / Work Order has first been signed by the Contractor and then by the proper officer authorized by DATTA MEGHE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES [Deemed to be University] DMIMS ( DU ) to enter into the contract on behalf of the DATTA MEGHE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES [Deemed to be University] DMIMS (DU). 11. Tender schedule shall not be transferable. 12. The contractors may submit the tenders during working hours on any working day from the date of publishing the tender notice. Tenders may be submitted by the contractor either in person or through any agent or by post. In case of submission tenders by post, the risk and responsibility for either loss and delays in transit of the same is to be borne by the contractor and the tender opening authority will not consider any tender received by him after the expiry of time and date fixed for receipt of tender. 13. The Contractor has to make his own arrangement for procurement, supply and use all constituent material as defined in Agreement / Work Order. 17. The contractor will not be entitled to claim any interest on arrears which he may be getting on the final settlement of accounts. 18. Tenderers are advised to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and satisfy themselves before submitting their tenders, the accommodation they may require and in general shall themselves obtain all items which influence or affect their tender. A tenderer shall be deemed to have full knowledge of the site whether he inspects it or not and no extra charges consequent on any misunderstanding or otherwise shall be allowed. The tenderer shall be responsible for arranging and maintaining at his own cost all materials, tools & plants, water, electricity access, facilities for workers and all other services required for executing the work unless otherwise specifically provided for in the contract documents. Submission of a tender by tenderer implies that he has read this notice and all other contract documents and has made himself aware of the scope and specifications of the work to be done and of conditions and rates at which stores, tools and plant, etc. will be issued to him by the DATTA MEGHE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES [Deemed to be University] DMIMS ( DU ) and local conditions and other factors having a bearing on the execution of the work. 19. The Contractors should procure required material from the choice as per specifications mentioned in the schedules / Work Order. 20. RIGHT TO OMIT OR ADD ONE OR MORE ITEMS. DATTA MEGHE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES [Deemed to be University] DMIMS ( DU ) shall have the right to omit or add one or more items put in the either before or after an agreement / Work Order for the work is entered into. In order to comply with the latest requirement of the Management, Local development bodies, site conditions, certain variations in the execution of items may be warranted. Despite nearly fifty percent of the entire world population being a reservoir for the bacteria , its infection rate depends on a plethora of factors. Some of these may include the socio economic status of a country , with developing and under developed countries being at a greater risk of infection. It most frequently , inhabits the gastric antrum of the stomach but is known to colonize other parts of the gastrointestinal tract especially those having gastric metaplasia.
