Externally

The property is approached over a track from the road. This leads to the side of the property where there is room to park several vehicles.

To the front of the house is a paved patio, from where you can look out over the gardens and the land.

To the side of the house is a covered veranda. This is currently used for storage, but would make a lovely place to sit out. It has a door to the living room.

There is a small rear garden and side garden, laid to grass, with mature trees and shrubs. These are a little overgrown and need some attention to bring them back to potential.

The majority of the gardens and land lie to the front of the house. The gardens are mainly laid to grass, with mature trees and shrubs and a range of fruit trees and bushes, including apples, cherries, figs, currants and gooseberries. There is one half of a railway wagon, used for storage.

Part of the garden has been divided off to provide an enclosure for livestock. Within this is the other half of the railway wagon, used for livestock shelter. Alongside this enclosure is an Agricultural Building. This is of block and timber construction. The front part is divided into two for storage and the rear provides shelter for livestock. To the rear of this is a lean-to goat shelter.

The Land

The land lies beyond the front garden and has a separate access from the track as well as the gardens. This comprises one enclosure of sloping pasture, bounded by mature trees and hedges.

The property extends to approximately 1 acre in total.

Please Note:

The track leading along the side of the house and across the front of it to some woodland belongs to a neighbouring farmer. However, the owners of Hafod y Dail enjoy full use of both.
