Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to “host” one in their yard for a couple of weeks. The Canterbury Crime and Safety Committee, with the support of the Canterbury HOA, had the signs printed up in the hopes of getting peoples’ attention and slowing traffic down throughout the neighborhood. With kids home from school for the summer, there are lots of younger folk playing out- side. And the combination of impulsive inattentive kids along with inattentive speeding drivers can be deadly. The legal speed limit is 25 mph in the neighborhood but it might be better to slow down to 20 mph where there are cars parked along the street, blocking Foothills Concert the view of kids playing. They can be quick to run out after a ball or toy, or to ride their bike down a driveway, possibly hidden by vegetation, and into Series - FREE the street.
