From the Eagan Foundation Scholarship Chair

Congratulations to our 2020 scholarship recipients! When you embarked on your senior year last fall, no one could have imagined it would end amid a pandemic. Regardless of the challenges we are all currently facing, we are thankful to be able to celebrate each and every one of you extraordinary students who rose to the top over other well qualified applicants. The Eagan Foundation is honored to help recognize you with a scholarship from one of our 60 generous donors. The journey to this point involved many participants: • Parents - congratulations on a job well done. It is not an easy task to get to this point but you have made it. The sleepless nights, celebrating of milestones, empathizing through disappointments, and passing on of values have led to this moment where your child is being recognized for their contributions and hard work. • Faculty, staff, coaches, and community members - you have all contributed to the success of these students in countless ways. Thank you for your dedication to our young people. • Scholarship donors - you are making an investment in the future with your generosity to these students. This year 111 students will receive scholarships totaling $130,450 thanks to you! And finally, Students, you are the reason we are here at this moment. Over the past four years you have shown leadership in the classroom, on the field and stage, and in the community. You gave back by logging over 14,000 hours of volunteerism in various community organizations throughout your high school career. Whether your next step is a two or four-year school - on campus or through distance learning - you are well positioned to be successful. Now more than ever, the world needs people like you! Sincerely, Lisa Stopfer Eagan Foundation Scholarship Chair
