MINUTES OF THE PREBID CLARIFICATION MEETING HELD AT UNOPS OFFICE, EDHURUHIYAA BUILDING, MALE’, MALDIVES; 1500HRS

Invitation for Bid for the rehabilitation of existing community rainwater harvesting facilities of , Kalaidhoo, , , , , Kunahandhoo, and at in Maldives.

The bid clarification meeting was organized on 5th October 2015 to clarify the technical or any other issues related to the ITB.

The bid clarification meeting had been initiated by power point presentation by UNOPS followed by a question and answer session.

The matters raised by the bidders during the pre-bid meeting and the clarifications are as follows.

Need discuss with Island Council and each island contains waste management rules. All Disposal of waste should be carried out according to the island disposal methods. 11 Do we have to use imported sand or local sand for Solid blocks with river sand should be used

all the masonry works? for masonry walls (inside and out).

12 Should the contractors use aerated blocks or Compressed blocks. compressed blocks?
