Rules & Regulations:

Eligibility: All unrated Players are eligible. Players having the career FIDE rating of 1599 & below for the last three years are only allowed to participate in this event. No age limit. System of Play: The championship shall be played under the FIDE Laws of Chess for a total of 9-rounds on a Swiss-League basis. Latest FIDE rules will be applicable. Time-Control: Each player shall have 30 minutes with an addition of 30 seconds per move starting from move one. Walk-over will be 15 minutes from start of the round (however clock will be running) Schedule. Tie Break: Direct Encounter, BH (Cut 1 least scoring opponent), BH (No Cut), SB (No Cut), Greater Number of Victories (including forfeits). APCA Registration: APCA registration for 2018-19 is compulsory for all Andhra Pradesh participants. The registration fee of .100 /- will be accepted at the venue for the convenience of the players. AICF Registration: The participants are informed that AICF Players registration is mandatory and it should be done well before participating in any tournament. From September, 2017 all registrations by players will be accepted only through online.
