Het vertelt het verhaal van de ontsnapping uit de Fox River State -gevangenis. De aflevering begint met hoofdpersoon Michael, die een levensgrote tatoeage op zijn buik, rug en armen heeft laten zetten. Prison Break Seizoen 1 de daaropvolgende scène rukt hij allerlei papieren van de muur en gooit de harde schijf van zijn computer vanaf het balkon in de Chicago rivier. Vervolgens is te zien hoe Michael Scofield een bank probeert te overvallen en zichzelf gemakkelijk laat arresteren. Dit doet hij om in de gevangenis te komen bij zijn broer en hem te bevrijden. Hij bedenkt van tevoren een uitgekiend plan. Michael moet vijf jaar lang de gevangenis in. Hoewel hij Prison Break Seizoen 1 protest tegen zijn straf indient, tot onvrede van zijn advocate Veronica Donovan, heeft hij wel een verzoek: geplaatst worden in een gevangenis dicht bij zijn Prison Break Seizoen 1. De rechter willigt dat verzoek in en hij gaat naar Fox River State Penitentiarydezelfde gevangenis als waar zijn broer zit. Als Michael in de gevangenis zit, vraagt hij aan zijn advocate om de zaak van zijn broer te bekijken. Dat Lincoln, de broer van Michael, de broer van de vicepresident van de Verenigde Staten van Amerika zou hebben vermoord zou in scène zijn gezet. Michael ontmoet de dokter, Tancredi, die hem zijn insulineprikken geeft voor zijn diabetes. Later blijkt dat het lichaam van Michael reageert alsof hij geen suikerziekte heeft het glucosegehalte in zijn bloed is te laag. De volgende keer gaat dokter Tancredi, tevens de dochter van de gouverneureen aantal tests met Michael doen om te zien of hij echt suikerziekte heeft. Via Fernando Sucre de celmaat van Michael stapt Michael op ene C-note af, een gevangene die voor hem medicijnen kan regelen. Michael heeft dus helemaal geen Prison Break Seizoen 1, maar wil regelmatig bij de dokter langsgaan als deel van zijn plan. Henry Pope, de directeur van de gevangenis, komt erachter dat Michael helemaal niet werkloos is zoals hij heeft ingevuld op een formulier. Michael is een bouwkundig ingenieurhij werkte bij een bedrijf dat zich gespecialiseerd heeft in civiele techniekmet name het ontwerpen van ingewikkelde systemen. Om zijn broer te helpen pleegt Michael een bankoverval zodat hij in dezelfde gevangenis, de Fox River State Penitentiary, als zijn broer terechtkomt. Michael probeert daar zijn ingenieuze ontsnappingsplan te verwezenlijken, maar al snel blijkt dat je niet alles kan plannen. Prison Break Seizoen 1, vernieuwend, leuk concept en elke aflevering met een cliffhanger Prison Break Seizoen 1 liggen me wel. Na dit seizoen moest het ook gewoon echt klaar zijn, maar helaas Spanning op een hoog niveau en goed en degelijk acteerwerk,de navolgende seizoenen werden wat minder in mijn ogen. Jammer dat het na de break stukken minder werd. Wat hier erg goed in is gedaan is hoe er met de spanningsboog wordt omgegaan. Het wordt maar aangespannen en aangespannen en laat zich niet zomaar stoppen. Op een gegeven moment is die spanning niet meer om te houden en wordt het op precies de juiste momenten los gelaten om wat ademruimte te geven. Het idee om je te laten opsluiten om vervolgens weer te ontsnappen hebben we misschien wel vaker gezien. Maar niet zoals hier.     Prison Break: Can Revival Live Up To Original? Author : Robert D. Cobb There are very few shows that can top that initial season. Once a show hits, viewers will give it at least 5 episodes to decide if it's worth watching or not. I recently experienced this with a show that's been off the air for a few years, Prison Break. I've heard about it but seeing the previews that it would be returning in early 2017 forced me to hit Netfilx and become a binge watcher. From the beginning I was hooked, and cursed myself for not taking the time to watch when it was airing on Fox in the past. But I was interested now, and I see why the show has such large following. How can you not like a story of a man going against all odds to break his brother out of prison? I remember hearing about Prison Break and thinking, "how could they base a show completely off a prison escape", that's what turned me off initially, I was wrong. The story the writers hit you with were exceptional with backstories of the main characters, violence, friendships but where it all came together for me was "the plan". I've never broke out of prison but the detail the writers put into the first season, put Prison Break up there with some of the best. From Michael Scofield tattoos, to his plan to get arrested, everything was well planned out. [embedit snippet="2"] What struck me was how Scofield was so determined to achieve his goal, he had almost everything planned out except for the extras baggage that came along for the ride but the writers were able to make everyone valuable to the mission at hand.

A ustedes, para ustedes, por ustedes, siempre, con todo el amor que Dios me dé. iii RESUMEN Este trabajo pretende mostrar, valiéndose de diecisiete producciones audiovisuales a modo de ejemplo –y de alusiones a otras–, algunas posibilidades para acompañar con películas la enseñanza de la filosofía (o de ciertas disciplinas filosóficas, no específicas de carreras de Filosofía): qué ventajas tiene usar filmes con ese propósito, algunos problemas que dicho uso presenta y ciertas estrategias metodológicas que facilitan tal uso. Empieza con un recorrido por material bibliográfico que revela relaciones entre el cine –películas y producciones audiovisuales– y la filosofía, donde se establece una clasificación para tal relación, y termina con el ejemplo de tres cursos en los que se usaron películas, que está precedido por algunas consideraciones teóricas sobre la planificación de cursos –en particular, de bachillerato, mirando los planes y programas oficiales– en los que se usarán películas, sobre tal uso en las aulas, la evaluación y cuestiones relativas.
