Pharmacist 2021 CPE Reporting

Are you ready for continuing pharmacy education (CPE) reporting this year? As part of the new biennial (two- year) renewal cycle for pharmacist licenses in Ohio, all pharmacists are required to obtain a minimum of 4.0 CEUs (40 hours) every two years. Pharmacists will need LOCKING to report CPE credits prior to license renewal in 2021; CPE must be earned between September 16, 2019 and PRESCRIPTION VIALS September 15, 2021.

(LPV®) Specific requirements include: • Any format (live, home study) is acceptable; Over 700,000 Ohioans age • Minimum 2 hours medication errors/patient safety (identified as ACPE -05); 12 and above abuse • Minimum 2 hours jurisprudence or law (identified substances each year as ACPE -03) or Ohio Board of Pharmacy Approved Jurisprudence; • Only ACPE courses and CPE from approved in-state providers (law and provision of volunteer healthcare services) are accepted.
