WE ARE BRADFORD Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust) was created on 1 April 2004. It serves a local population of around 530,000 and employs over 5,800 people working across 6 sites. Each year we deliver around 6,000 babies, perform over 300,000 operations and see around 500,000 patients in outpatient clinics. Approximately 140,000 people attend our Emergency department each year. Our mission at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is “to provide the highest quality healthcare at all times”. We are one of the few hospitals around the country which delivers care, teaching and research. To do well in any one of these domains is an achievement. It is an even greater challenge to excel in all three, but that is our ambition. We strive for excellence and are committed to learning from and leading best practice to make sure we are delivering quality care. We aim to have a workforce representative of the communities we serve so we’re the best place for our patients and our people. To this end,

In this letter you asked the Board of Directors of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust to direct our wholly-owned subsidiary AGH Solutions to uplift all their employees onto the NHS Agenda for Change contract, including bank staff. Members of the Trust Board have met with members of the AGH Solutions Board to discuss this letter and agree appropriate next steps. David Moss and Holly Tetley have confirmed that they are already in dialogue with the GMB around pay terms and conditions for AGH Solutions colleagues and have committed to respond to the questions the GMB have raised in time for the next partnership meeting which is scheduled for 13 November 2020. David and Holly have also confirmed that AGH Solutions Board is committed to continue to work in partnership with the GMB with a view to reaching agreement on these outstanding issues. The Airedale NHS Foundation Trust Board is supportive of this approach and assured by this commitment. The Trust Board has asked that the AGH Solutions Board consider the request in your letter as part of the annual pay review process and will receive the recommendations from AGH Solutions on the pay review at a private meeting of the Trust Board early in the new year, reflecting that the matter is commercially sensitive.

    Our Council of Governors and our Membership March 2019 – April 2020 Our Council of Governors The Council of Governors is an integral part of the governance structures that exist in all NHS Foundation Trusts. The role of the Council of Governors is to hold the Non-Executive Directors individually and collectively to account for the performance of the Board of Directors and to represent the interests of NHS Foundation Trusts members and of the public. Governors are elected from the Foundation Trust’s membership and the majority of the seats on a Council of Governors have to be held by elected Public and Patient Governors (where a Trust has Patient Governors). Seats on our Council There are 20 seats on our Council. 13 seats are reserved for public and patient governors, 4 seats for staff governors and 3 seats available for our partner governors (Leeds and Bradford universities and from our local council) Our Council of Governors and our Membership | March 2019 – April 2020 2 Our Council - who’s who Mr AMIT BHAGWAT, Public Governor ‘Rest of England and Wales’ Amit has worked across many parts of the world and brings international recognition in the fields of information and communications technology, programme management and governance. He has chaired several bodies and events in fields across technology, management and wider governance, and served on the board of the Professional Associations’ Research Network. His work has also received recognition through the UK IT Industry Awards, Risk Management Awards and Business Green Leaders Awards. Amit has a strong national reputation for public service and has been associated, in board roles, with national names like Mind, Age UK and Student Minds.

The reasons for absence were approved. Additional apologies have been received from Cllr Chris Herd, Rev. Cat Thatcher, Sgt. Beecroft and Alice Jones. 64/19 Disclosures of Interest None. 65/19 Applications for a Dispensation None. 66/19 Correspondence – Yates House Cllr Eastwood proposed moving the item about Yates House up the agenda and this was agreed. The resident explained their concerns about the fence that had been erected on farming land adjacent to their property. They stated they were happy to work with the landowner on any issues, such as overhanging trees, but were unhappy about the new fence, which they felt did not fit in with the conservation area and also blocked their view. Cllr Poulsen said she had contacted the planning enforcement department at Bradford Council.

    Our ref: 523/21 I would like to know the following information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) for your police force area between the month of January 2008 and month of December 2020 (both inclusive). 1) The precise location, i.e., either A.) road name plus village/town/city plus postcode or B.) six digit grid reference number, of each established homicide (that is incidents of murder, manslaughter or infanticide). 2) The date of the respective incident (if not available, then the date of reporting). 3) The name of the victim or victims for each homicide. The preferred format of this information is in a table in excel or pdf file attached as a reply to this email. In case you do not hold these information retrospectively before a certain month-year, could you please both i.) provide the above data from the date you do hold the information and ii.) direct me to the relevant authority to obtain the remaining data back to January 2008?
