2012 FCS "Boys Staters" Congratulations to the 2012 Boys State delegates who have completed the requirements to be called Boy Staters. The following Junior boys left to right are: Cody Marriott, Sam McCumiskey, Garrett Frazier, Nick Bower and Elliott Austin. They were selected to participate at Morrisville College by the Fillmore American Legion. Boys State is a practical experience that teaches young men about State government and how to become better leaders. 2013 selection will take place in the Spring for Junior boys. Interested boys should contact Mr. Kelley or Mr. Mitchell to be considered for selection. Fillmore Central School District Newsletter 22 September 2012 FCS Sends Eight Students to National Academic Championships Eight students and two advisors traveled to Alexandria VA and Washington DC May 31 – June 3 2012 to re present Fillmore Central School at the National Academic Championship. This is an invitational tournament available to teams based on their performance at local competitions. Fillmore’s teams qualified based upon their success at the JCC competition in Olean in October and at BOCES sponsored Scholastic Challenge in February of last school year.
