Relevant Background and Introduction 1.1 Appendix A attached, lists all of the planning applications received prior to 1 April 2015 and which remain to be determined by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council. 1.2 The schedule includes both local applications which are delegated under the Council’s scheme of delegation and major applications which will be determined by the Planning Committee. 2. Key Issues 2.1 The Council’s scheme of delegation delegates all local planning applications to officers subject to a number of exceptions. In addition, Members have the opportunity to ‘call in’ applications in accordance with the agreed protocol. Applications which have been made by a close relative of the Council as defined in the scheme of delegation will also be referred to the Committee. 2.2 Should Members wish to ‘call in’ any of the local applications on the attached list, they should do so in accordance with the protocol, within 3 weeks from Friday 3 April 2015. Members should also advise of any applications made by a close relative as defined within the protocol. 3.
