How does Nye measure outgassing of its lubricants?

Nye will be receiving an E-595 test rig around mid-March of 2011. The E-595 test method mea- sures the volatile content of materials when exposed to a vacuum environment. Two parameters 12 Howland Road are measured; total mass loss (TML) and collected volatile condensable materials (CVCM). This Fairhaven, MA 02719 USA testing is done on every batch of our semicon products. By having this capability internally, this Ph: +1.508.996.6721 Email: [email protected] will allow us to reduce the turnaround time on test results. The unit will also be used to evaluate new raw materials and experimentals for developing low outgassing products that are important to our aerospace and in-vacuum manufacturing customers.
