I bet you’re wondering if the children of St John’s completed their challenge of running and rowing to India? The good news is...... WE MADE IT! All the children worked incredibly hard to run laps of the school playground with a lot of encouragement from the supporting American Footballers. Some teachers tried hard too! To reach India we had to row the English Channel, the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea - a challenge which was eagerly accepted by Years 2-6. The University Rowing Team were incredibly impressed by the stamina and efforts from all the children. The children rose to this exciting challenge and all survived crossing the seas! We would like to thank you all for your amazing support and contributions to help raise over £1,000 for these good causes. With your on-going support we can continue to help make a difference to children around the world.

" I liked the running. It kept me fit and I liked helping the school in India. That made me run more!" Georgie. " I liked looking at the map to see where we had to run to because it was so exciting to see how far it was from us to India. It was so far. We did it!" Paul. Miss Siggins
