Ziggy Marley, six-time Grammy Award winner, Emmy Award winner, humanitarian, singer, songwriter, and producer has released 12 albums to critical acclaim. As front man to Ziggy Marley and The Melody Makers, the group released eight best-selling albums that garnered three Grammy Awards, with such chart-topping hits as "Look Who’s Dancing," "Tomorrow People" and "Tumbling Down." Marley’s first solo album, Dragonfly, was released in 2003. His album, Love is My Religion, won the Grammy Award for “Best Reggae Album” followed by the album Family Time, which scored him a 5th Grammy Award for “Best Children’s Album.” In 2011, Marley released his critically acclaimed album Wild And Free, which earned him a Grammy Award nomination. He also released his first comic book, MARIJUANAMAN. To coincide with the release of his latest album Fly Rasta, Marley released a children’s book titled I Love You Too. Biography A five-time Grammy-winning musician, actor, artist, activist and humanitarian, Ziggy Marley has established his presence on the public stage for over a quarter-century. His newest release, Ziggy Marley In Concert, is a collection of live recordings from his 2012 Wild and Free World Tour. The album, which will release digitally on iTunes December 18th before its worldwide physical release on January 15th of 2013, continues to convey Marley’s overall message of love, freedom, hope and challenge. The album features live tracks from his Grammy-nominated and critically acclaimed 2011 release Wild and Free, including the funky and fun-loving “Forward To Love,” the upbeat groove-driven “Reggae in My Head,” and the rock-fueled reggae anthem “Wild and Free.” Live versions of the Bob Marley classics “War” and “Is This Love” also appear on the album as well as Ziggy’s hits “Tomorrow People” and “True To Myself.” In recent years, Marley has been involved in a slew of projects including an extensive world tour that spanned most of 2011 and 2012. Led by such acts as Nickelback, Ludacris, Ne-Yo, and Rihanna, IDJMG topped all labels with a 14.1% share of the total airplay pie. Island Def Jam is the #1 label at Top 40 and Hot AC, coming in second at Rhythmic, Urban, Urban AC, Mainstream Rock, and Active Rock, and ranking at #3 at Alternative. Atlantic was second with a 12.0% share. Atlantic had huge hits from the likes of James Blunt, Sean Paul, Yung Joc, Cassie, and Rob Thomas -- who all scored huge airplay at multiple formats. Atlantic ranks #1 at Rhythmic and Urban, second at Top 40 and AC, and third at Hot AC and Mainstream Rock. Atlantic did all of this separately from sister label Lava, who actually broke the top 15 labels thanks to Gnarls Barkley and Buckcherry. Always powerful Interscope was third with 8.4%. Interscope was #1 at Alternative, second at Top 40 and Triple A, and fifth at Rhythmic. Interscope was led byAll-American Rejects, Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, and Nine Inch Nails.
