Rapid Antigen Testing for Employees and the General Population Rapid antigen testing for employees and the general population– Testing units According to the decree in force, employees in businesses and other professional sectors who are returning to work on 8 February, are obliged to undergo an antigen rapid test, by tomorrow, Sunday 7 February 2021. In this context, the Ministry of Health’s program of free screening with rapid antigen test continues, in order to ensure a smooth and safe re-opening of businesses/sectors. Based on the above and to make the screening possible for everyone returning to their work place on Monday, the employees are grouped alphabetically according to their surname, as follows: Day/Date Surname – Greek Surname – Latin alphabet alphabet Sunday, 7 Τ – Ω W – Z February Employees who have not undergone the test are encouraged to do so tomorrow, since a negative rapid test outcome constitutes a requirement for returning to work. The testing program for employees will be carried out at the same time as the testing program for the general population. In order to better serve all citizens, testing units have been increased to 62, operating in all Districts, with extended operating hours for tomorrow, Sunday 7 February, as follows: Operating District Location of testing units hours Agios Ioannis Eleimon Church, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Lemesos p.m. ‘Andreas Themistocleous’ TEPAK Lemesos 8.30 a.m. - 6 building, Agia Zoni (old land registry, p.m. (14 units) Athinon street) Agios Nektarios Church, Mesa 8.30 a.m. - 6 Geitonia p.m. Apostles Peter and Paul Church, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Kapsalos p.m. Panagia Evangelistria Church, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Polemidia p.m. Panagia Chrysopolitissa Church, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Ypsonas p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Agia Varvara Church, Zakaki p.m. Cultural Centre of the Municipality of 8.30 a.m. - 6 Germasogeia p.m. Apostolos Lucas Church, Agios 8.30 a.m. - 6 Athanasios (Housing settlement) p.m. Erimi Medical Centre (Opposite former 8.30 a.m. - 6 Cyprus Cooperative Bank) p.m. 8.30 a.m. - Trimiklini Community Council 4.30 p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Agios Stylianos Church, Linopetra p.m. Multifunctional Centre, Pyrgos, 8.00 a.m. - Lemesos 12.30 p.m. 1.30 p.m. - 6 Palodia Community Council p.m. “Agios Georgios Kontos” Cultural 8.30 a.m. - 6 Centre, Larnaka p.m. Larnaka (12 units) 8.30 a.m. - 6 Larnaka Municipal Theatre p.m. Apostolos Varnavas Church, Larnaka 8.30 a.m. - 6 (Krasas area) p.m. “Agios Savvas” Spiritual Centre, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Livadia p.m. Timiou Prodromou Church, Dromolaxia 8.30 a.m. - 6 (new church) p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 “Omonia Aradippou” Union, Aradippou p.m. Palaio Pantopoleio building, 8.30 a.m.-1 Xylotympou p.m. 1.30 p.m. - 6 Xylofagou Community Council p.m. 8.30 a.m.-1 Skarinou Community Council p.m. 1.30 p.m. - 6 Kornos Community Clinic p.m. Old Community Council of Oroklini (1 8.30 a.m. - 1 Armonias Street) p.m. Athienou Municipal Building (covered 1.30 p.m. - 6 parking area) p.m. State Fair, Engomi (in front of the East 8.30 a.m. - 6 Entrance) p.m. Lefkosia 8.30 a.m. - 6 Agios Pavlos Church, Agios Dometios (19 units) p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Agios Dimitrios Church, Acropolis p.m. Apostolos Andreas Church, Aglantzia 8.30 a.m. - 6 (Kyrenia Avenue) p.m. Panagia Evangelistria Church, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Palouriotissa p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Agios Georgios Church, Latsia p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Agia Paraskevi Church, Lakatamia p.m. Tis tou Theou Sofias Church, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Strovolos p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Agios Vasileios Church, Strovolos p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Geri Municipality p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Agios Georgios Church, Deftera p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Tseri Elementary School A’ p.m. Apostolos Varnavas Church, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Kokkinotrimithia p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Dali Health Centre p.m. Ikima Heraklis Palechoriou, “Costas 9 a.m. - 2 Ioakim” Hall, Palechori p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Psimolofou Community Council Square p.m. 9 a.m. – 5.30 Galata Elementary School p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Peristerona Community Council p.m. Kato Pyrgos Tyllirias Community 10 a.m. - 2 Council p.m. Church of the Apostles Pavlos and 8.30 a.m. - 6 Varnavas, Pafos p.m. Former House of the District Officer, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Pafos (Griva Digeni Street) p.m. ERA KORIVOS parking area, 2 8.30 a.m. - 6 Demokratias Avenue, next to Pafiako p.m. Stadium) Apostolos Andreas Church, Polis 8.30 a.m. - 5 Chrysochous p.m. “Vrisi ton Pegiotisson” Square, Pegia 9 a.m. - 5 Pafos (parking area) p.m. (10 units) Multipurpose Hall of the Community 8.30 a.m. - 6 Council of Emba p.m. 2 p.m. - 6 Timi Community Clinic p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 1 Church of Agia Paraskevi, Geroskipou p.m. 2 p.m. - 6 Chlorakas Church, Events Hall p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 1 Pissouri Central Square p.m. Spiritual Centre of the Metropolitan 8.30 a.m. - 6 Church of Paralimni p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 1 “Onisilos” Union, Sotira p.m. 1.30 pm - 6 Agia Napa Church, Agia Napa p.m. Ammochostos 8.30 a.m. - 1 Avgorou Senior Citizens’ club (7 units) p.m. 1.30 p.m. - 6 Ethnikofrona Somateia of Liopetri p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 1 Frenaros Community Council p.m. 1.30 p.m. - 6 Deryneia Adults’ Centre p.m. It is noted that employees, who are working in businesses or the public and wider public sector, can proceed to the above testing units for a rapid test, in order to comply with the following mandatory weekly examination of personnel with a rapid antigen test: • Businesses/services employing up to 3 people, all employees should be tested. • Businesses/services employing between 4 and 10 people, at least 4 employees should be tested. • Businesses/services employing more than 11 people, at least 4 people or 20% of employees should be tested, whichever is higher in number. ----------------- 6/2/2021 .

ils tra ure nat d other Follow the E4 an us. pr Cy EUROPEAN LONG DISTANCE PATH E4 INTRODUCTION The European long distance path E4 was extended to Cyprus following a proposal by the Greek Ramblers Association to the European Ramblers Association, the coordinating body of the European Network of long distance paths. The main partners in Cyprus are the Cyprus Tourism Organisation and the Forestry Department. The path starts at Gibraltar, passes through Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, mainland Greece, the Greek island of Crete, to the island of Cyprus. In its Cyprus section, European path E4 connects Larnaka and Pafos international airports. Along the route, it traverses Troodos mountain range, Akamas peninsula and long stretches of cural areas, along regions of enhanced natural beauty and high ecological, historic, archaeological, cultural and scientific value. Few people have the time or the stamina to tackle the whole route in one go. The information given here is a general outline, to assist ramblers identify the path route. It is by no means a detailed description of all aspects of covered areas. Ramblers are strongly advised to research further any path section(s) to be attempted, with particular emphasis in the availability and proximity of overnight licensed accommodation establishments, especially in remote mountain and rural areas. It should be stressed that the route by no means represents all that Cyprus has to offer the rambler. It is primarily designed as cross- country route, and as such is inevitably selective, missing out some fine landscapes and/or cultural sites. It does however provide a sampler of the scenic and cultural variety that is Cyprus.

  • Rapid Antigen Testing Units – 24 May 2021 Aiming at the Continuous
Rapid antigen testing units – 24 May 2021 Aiming at the continuous surveillance of the community and the workplaces, the free programmes of rapid antigen testing of the general population and employees are in progress. For the smooth and safe operation of businesses that have been activated according to the Decrees, employers in businesses, as well as the Heads of Departments/Services in the public and wider public sector, are obliged to coordinate the rapid testing of the employees, so that the mandatory weekly rapid antigen testing of at least 50% of the personnel working with physical presence, is ensured. Additionally, the self-employed and the domestic employees and/or people caring for elders or disabled persons or people providing assistance to individuals who are unable to take care of themselves are obligated to participate in the program.
