National Defence Fund
UFCW Canada’s National Defence Fund (”NDF”) is an internally restricted Fund established and maintained for the benefi t of participating bargaining units and members represented by UFCW Canada local unions. The purpose of the Fund is to provide fi nancial assistance, strike support, and related payments to participating bargaining units. Any payments shall be determined by the Administration Committee.
Conference delegate representation will be determined as follows:
~ One (1) delegate for up to and including one hundred (100) affi liated members.
~ One (1) delegate for each additional one hundred (100) members or major fraction thereof.
The formula for voting during a conference session shall be:
~ One (1) vote per seated delegate.
~ Roll call votes upon the request of one-third (1/3) or more of the seated delegates.
