B.] & Palmer [G.] 1950 (in Zoological Record for 1949, were a citation to Abe is given and a type is designated). Gastrophysus can be suppressed under the ICZN, and Matsuura 2015 has declared his intention to ask the ICZN to suppress Gastrophysus(Matsuura 2015) but no decision has been made.
