She has since played on both intermural teams and in travel leagues. Kaitlynne states, “I am a de- fender on the Wyoming Valley Soccer Club ’00 girls team and I also play for the Pittston Stoners.” Her jersey number is #7. When asked if she participates in other sports, Kai- tlynne quickly responds, no, and that she plays soccer all year. “I like the game and how to play it”, she says, and that is what she enjoys most about soccer. Her favorite professional player is Alex Morgan. Kaitlynne lives in Harveys Lake with her brother, Nathaniel, sister, Morgan and their parents, Ed and Krista Patla. Back Mountain Community News ... Community News • June 2012 • Page 5 Market on the Pond welcomes donations The Meadows Nursing Center’s Auxiliary volunteers are asking the community to pitch in and help by donating items that can be used for various booths at their annual fund raiser, “Market on the Pond,” that benefits residents. The event will be held on Saturday, June 16th from 9 am to 3 pm on the center’s grounds at 4 East Center Hill Rd., Dallas. Rain date is June 23rd. Items for booths such as odds and ends (no clothing or broken items), soft and hardcover books (no magazines), handcrafted items, new but never used items, kitchen items, and perennial plants are appreciated. For the convenience of the community, donations can be brought to the lobby at the center on Saturday, June 2nd and Saturday, June 9th from 9am to noon.
