Speaking of METROPOLITAN CHAMPIONSHIPS November, the last day to post scores Amateur Championship Match Play Championship for our region is November 14 and then we go into our Inactive Season. Senior Amateur Championship Metropolitan Cup Matches It has been an extremely busy last couple months since our Four-Ball Championship last issue. We had the US Senior Amateur at Old Warson Mid-America Junior Cup and wrapped up the 2016 MAGA tournament season with USGA QUALIFYING ROUNDS the 4-Ball, Mid-America Junior Cup and Amateur Series US Open Qualifying (Local and Sectional) Championship. All of which benefited from this fantastic US Senior Open Qualifying fall weather. US Amateur Qualifying US Mid-Amateur Qualifying MAGA has a couple exciting announcements to make. Kraus, who was competing in her first final in 26 USGA match- play appearances, receives a silver medal and a three-year Senior Women’s Amateur exemption.
