Quand je vois ma photo partout, je me sens chez moi cette semaine, il y a quelque chose, je me sens à l’aise, j’ai trop hâte de jouer ces quatre prochains jours / It’s an honor to be back here after two years, and I missed this tournament in 2020. I couldn’t play – well, COVID is all around the world, so I missed this week. Finally, I got back to here, so I’m very happy. I can see my pictures everywhere, so my feeling is like this week is my hometown, something, so I feel really comfortable, and I can’t wait to play the next four days. J’en suis très fière / It’s so nice, especially this time of year. The atmosphere is amazing and the views are amazing and the weather. Nothing can beat this. Every week I go into a tournament with a new mindset. It’s definitely cool [to win a major]. It’s a cool feeling. I’m very proud of it.

The South Course will undoubtedly test the shot-making skills of the world’s best with tight fairways and lush rough, as well as trees, bunkers and sand. While walking Torrey Pines’ picturesque coastal bluffs, tournament patrons will enjoy breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean’s majestic coastline and natural canyons. In 2001, celebrated golf course designer Rees Jones was given the task of remodeling the South Course, an endeavor that has been met with almost universal acclaim.
