The Furman men’s lacrosse team will play its third consecutive ranked opponent on Tuesday evening when it welcomes the Mar. 14 at Air Force* 1:00 p.m. seventh-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions to Paladin Stadium for a 7 p.m. matchup. Tickets for Tuesday’s game, and all of Furman’s home games this season, are available online at www.furmanpaladins.com. Admission is $5. APRIL The Paladins (1-5) returned home from a three-game road trip on Friday evening and dropped an 18-11 decision to third- ranked North Carolina. Furman concluded the game with 22 shots and 20 ground balls. The Paladins forced the Tar Heels into 17 APR. 4 HIGH POINT* 12:00 P.M. turnovers and held a 14-6 advantage in saves. Apr. 11 at Bellarmine* 12:00 p.m. Brett Tenaglia led Furman offensively with career-highs in points (5), goals (3) and assists (2). Anders Erickson, Tucker APR. 18 RICHMOND* 12:00 p.m. Brown and Jack Dowd all scored two goals. Chad Kreuzer and Carson Sorrells each contributed one goal. Austin Leonard, Jarrett Birch, Keegan Pearl and Will Farrell dished out one assist apiece. He is tied for the team-lead of six assists with Erickson, who adds 13 points on seven goals. Sorrells and Brown have both scored eight goals. Defensively, Corey Hall has a team-best 14 ground balls while Will O’Grady has caused six turnovers. In goal, Van de Bovenkamp contributes 82 assists and MAY a .491 save percentage. May 2 SoCon MLAX Championship TBA Penn State is ranked seventh nationally this week in both the Maverick Media and USILA Coaches Polls. The Nittany Lions are 4-2 following a 18-17 loss to seventh-ranked Cornell on Sunday in Charlotte, N.C. Grant Ament leads Penn State offensively with 39 goals on 11 goals and a team-high 28 assists. Mac O’Keefe has scored a team-leading 25 goals this season. In goal, Colby Kneese has All Times Are Eastern and Subject to Change made 72 saves to go with a .518 save percentage.
