Mount Druitt Town Rangers 5 – Sydney FC 3 at Valentine Sports Park Mount Druitt Town Rangers FC climbed to eighth on the table on Saturday night after defeating a ten-man Sydney FC 5-3 in their National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s clash at Valentine Sports Park. A Fabricio Fernandez hat-trick helped the Rangers punish the Young Sky Blues who went a man down after only 15 minutes into the contest. The Uruguayan was at his devastating best in the match also set up Mirijan Pavlovic for a goal who himself finished the match with a trio of assists. Sydney FC was chasing the game from early on with Anton Lenaric sent off only 11 minutes in. Nevertheless they went down fighting with goals to Ryan Teague, Marco Tilio and Jordi Swibel setting up a thrilling finish to the match. However, it was Fernandez’s match as he wrapped up the win for Mt Druitt, and his hat-trick, with a cool finish eight minutes out from full-time. 6 #NPLNSW TEAM OF THE WEEK 01: LARGE USE: OVER 150MM WIDE This logo has a smaller ‘®’ symbol FOOTBALL NSW WOULD LIKE TO THANK THEIR SPONSORS FOR THEIR CONTINUED SUPPORT 02: SMALL USE: 55MM - 150MM WIDE This logo has a larger ‘®’ symbol NPLNSW.COM.AU 7 SILVER SPONSORS SILVER SPONSORS SILVER SPONSORS NPLNSW.COM.AU 9 U20’S TEAM LISTS 26 Alen Aganovic 22 Tyson Savas 27 Alec Purves 23 Harry Mccarthy 29 Daniel Colosimo 24 Jake Hollman 31 Stuart Gosling 25 Mitchell Mattison 32 Carlos De Olivera 26 Sam Amey 33 Anthony Gallo 27 Aaron Gurd 34 Suley Bangura 28 Fletcher Mcfarlane 35 Rhett Desilva 30 Adam Pavlesic 31 Scott Browning 32 Thomas Main 33 Jaiden Kucharski 34 Calem Nieuwenhof 40 Levi Kaye Coach: Andy Montgomery Assistant Coach: Daniel Lownds Head Coach: Shane Smeltz Manager: Dean Montgomery Assistant Coach: Howard Fondyke Team Manager: Jarek Pacholski U20’S - NPL NSW MEN’S POS TEAM P W D L F A GD PTS 1 Blacktown City FC 16 11 4 1 36 12 24 37 2 Sydney FC 16 7 6 3 27 16 11 27 3 APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC 15 7 4 4 20 12 8 25 4 Rockdale City Suns FC 16 7 4 5 35 28 7 25 5 Sutherland Sharks FC 16 7 4 5 23 19 4 25 6 Sydney Olympic FC 15 6 4 5 19 21 -2 22 7 Manly United FC 16 6 3 7 25 28 -3 21 8 Marconi Stallions FC 16 5 5 6 22 28 -6 20 9 Wollongong Wolves FC 16 6 1 9 19 27 -8 19 10 Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC 16 4 4 8 28 36 -8 16 11 Hakoah Sydney City East FC 15 3 4 8 22 34 -12 13 12 Sydney United 58 FC 15 2 3 10 18 33 -15 9 10 #NPLNSW U20’S MATCH PREVIEW Blacktown City still enjoy a comfortable ten-point Sunday afternoon.
