TOURISM GRANT PROGRAM Advertising Plan Worksheet

How will you reach your audience?

There is no single correct answer to advertising. What’s best will be a little different for every event, project and business. By identifying your target audience, it helps to select the best fitting advertising and promotion channels. It may be a mixture of free and paid advertising including social media, TV, radio, outdoor display advertising, print ads, email, information booths, apps, live events, or phone calls. Just make sure you have a well-rounded marketing mix, leave room for trial-and-error and testing, and give yourself enough time for these channels to payoff and reach your audience. Advertising and communication is the life blood of every event, project and business. If top businesses and events are still marketing well known products (i.e. Apple, Adidas, Olympics, NFL), what makes you any different?
