Additionally, organizations can utilize the power of IBM Trusteer from within Security Verify to provide adaptive access and new machine learning capabilities along with identity governance tools delivering powerful analytics.

Security Verify helps organizations secure user productivity by using some of the following features:

Security Verify Access V10.0.0, formerly Security Access Manager

As enterprises become more aware of and driven by digital transformation policies, Security Verify Access V10.0.0, with multiple deployment models, can support each stage of digital transformations. Security Verify Access continues to support both the existing physical and virtual appliance models for on-premises deployments. As enterprises move system ownership and management to Infrastructure as a Service, Security Verify Access has improved its support for hybrid and multi- cloud deployments, including but not limited to IBM Cloud, Amazon Web Services, MicrosoftTM Azure, and Google Cloud.

Through digital transformation and DevOps modernization practices, enterprises begin to adopt container-based deployment. Security Verify Access provides an updated and improved docker container to support this deployment model. Security Verify Access utilizes Docker community and enterprise for containers, and Red Hat(R) OpenShift(R) and Kubernetes for orchestration.

Security Verify Access provides key integrations with Security Verify Multifactor Authentication (MFA) to deliver rapid and easy-to-deploy technologies, such as IBM Verify MFA push notification. Through this integration, enterprises can quickly and easily obtain value with minimal configuration.

Security Verify Access provides support for Single Page Applications and API-driven scenarios with the administrators in mind. With the focus on API-driven scenarios, Security Verify Access also delivers support for Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS). CORS supports secure cross-origin requests and data transfer between browsers and the required servers to fulfill business applications needs.

Security Verify Access includes support for Financial-grade API (FAPI). FAPI is a standard designed by the OpenID Foundation that supports banking and other financial institutions when building an Open Banking solution. FAPI ensures the sharing of consumer financial data is secured during transit between institutions.

New Security Verify Access capabilities:

Security Verify Access helps organizations take back control of their access management system by managing access across many common scenarios with a single solution. With its ability to be deployed anywhere at any time on any infrastructure, Security Verify Access V10.0.0 can accelerate any organization's digital transformation journey.

The clarification of the Security Verify Access support policy of providing fixes to only the most current product modification levels available, as announced in Software Announcement ZP20-0094, dated January 28, 2020, is expanded to explain that an organization can request fixes for known security vulnerabilities and critical or high severity defects for releases prior to the most recent modification level. IBM can provide those fixes on a case-by-case basis when technically feasible.

IBM Trusteer portfolio

IBM Trusteer Pinpoint Detect Bundle, a new Trusteer portfolio offering, includes Trusteer Pinpoint Detect and Trusteer Mobile SDK. Additionally, Trusteer Rapport is included with the limitation of no provision for splash screen support or the option to include Trusteer Rapport Mandatory Service.

Organizations need only subscribe to the equivalent amount of resource units that are needed to meet their planned usage. Resource units are purchased on an annual basis. To allow for seasonal spikes in usage, there is no longer the need to pay each month. Organizations can only pay for what they use, while easily allowing expansion to any of the other capabilities Security Verify offers.

Security Verify Access

Security Verify Access is a modular platform for web, mobile, and cloud access management, multi-factor authentication, risk-based authentication, web-application protection, and identity federation. Its integrated appliance form factor delivers flexible, automated deployment on-premises or in the cloud. This includes taking advantage of Docker container orchestration frameworks, such as Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.

As organizations undergo digital transformation, nearly every part of a business is now or soon will be available digitally. The majority of businesses must offer digital experiences tailored to their users that are available across a wide range of devices from traditional PCs to mobile and an ever-growing list of other connected gadgets. According to the IBM X-Force(R) security and risk trend report, attackers use phishing attacks and social engineering to compromise user access to gain unauthorized access into corporate applications. Identity fraud and bring your own device are growing concerns for enterprises as they expand their web application reach into mobile, business partner, and social collaborations.

In the face of these challenges, it is important to bring increased intelligence to authentication and authorization. Security Verify Access Advanced Access Control module lets organizations use detailed contextual information (for example, geographic location, device fingerprint, browser type, application data, and so forth) about the user when making access decisions.

Security Verify Access Federation module

Security Verify Access Federation module accelerates the adoption of third-party enterprise cloud service applications within an organization by enabling easy-to- install connectors to popular applications. By using these connectors, organizations can rapidly give users access to an application without creating an additional set of logins. This also increases security and visibility by linking users' enterprise identity to the identity of the third-party application provider.

New Security Verify Access Federation module capabilities:

The information provided in this announcement letter is for reference and convenience purposes only. The terms and conditions that govern any transaction with IBM are contained in the applicable contract documents such as the IBM International Program License Agreement, IBM International Passport Advantage Agreement, and the IBM Agreement for Acquisition of Software Maintenance.

This product is only available through Passport Advantage.

Licensing IBM International Program License Agreement including the License Information document and Proof of Entitlement (PoE) govern your use of the program. PoEs are required for all authorized use. Part number products only, offered outside of Passport Advantage, where applicable, are license only and do not include Software Maintenance.

IBM Europe Software Announcement ZP20-0002 IBM is a registered trademark of International Business Machines Corporation 22 Software Maintenance Licenses under the IBM International Program License Agreement (IPLA) provide for support with ongoing access to releases and versions of the program. IBM includes one year of Software Subscription and Support (also referred to as Software Maintenance) with the initial license acquisition of each program acquired. The initial period of Software Subscription and Support can be extended by the purchase of a renewal option, if available. Two charges apply: a one-time license charge for use of the program and an annual renewable charge for the enhanced support that includes telephone assistance (voice support for defects during normal business hours), as well as access to updates, releases, and versions of the program as long as support is in effect.

Limited warranty applies Yes

Limited warranty IBM warrants that when the program is used in the specified operating environment, it will conform to its specifications. The warranty applies only to the unmodified portion of the program. IBM does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the program or that IBM will correct all program defects. You are responsible for the results obtained from the use of the program.

IBM provides you with access to IBM databases containing information on known program defects, defect corrections, restrictions, and bypasses at no additional charge. For further information, see the IBM Support Guide.

IBM will maintain this information for at least one year after the original licensee acquires the program (warranty period).

Program technical support Technical support of a program product version will be available for a minimum of five years from the general availability date of that version, as long as your Software Subscription and Support (also referred to as Software Maintenance) is in effect.

This technical support allows you to obtain assistance (by telephone or electronic means) from IBM for product-specific, task-oriented questions regarding the installation and operation of the program. Software Subscription and Support (Software Maintenance) also provides you with access to updates (modifications or fixes), releases, and versions of the program. Fixes will only be provided for the most current release. You will be notified, through an announcement letter, of discontinuance of support with 12 months' notice. If you require additional technical support from IBM, including an extension of support beyond the discontinuance date, contact your IBM representative or IBM Business Partner. This extension may be available for a fee.

Note: Security updates and maintenance will be made available through fixpacks on the most recent modification level release only. Additional maintenance through iFixes will be made available, as necessary, on the most recent modification level release. A client can request fixes for known security vulnerabilities and critical or high severity defects for releases prior to the most recent modification level. IBM can provide those fixes on a case-by-case basis when technically feasible. Refer to the IBM Lifecycle Support page for IBM Security Verify Access V10.0 for details.

Money-back guarantee If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the program and you are the original licensee, you may obtain a refund of the amount you paid for it, if within 30 days of your invoice date you return the program and its PoE to the party from whom you obtained it. If you downloaded the program, you may contact the party from whom you acquired it for instructions on how to obtain the refund.

For clarification, note that (1) for programs acquired under the IBM International Passport Advantage offering, this term applies only to your first acquisition of the program and (2) for programs acquired under any of IBM's On/Off Capacity on Demand (On/Off CoD) software offerings, this term does not apply since these offerings apply to programs already acquired and in use by you.

Product upgrades provide the latest versions and releases to entitled software, and Technical Support provides voice and electronic access to IBM support organizations, worldwide.

IBM includes one year of Software Subscription and Support with each program license acquired. The initial period of Software Subscription and Support can be extended by the purchase of a renewal option, if available.

While your Software Subscription and Support is in effect, IBM provides you assistance for your routine, short duration installation and usage (how-to) questions, and code-related questions. IBM provides assistance by telephone and, if available, electronic access, only to your information systems (IS) technical support personnel during the normal business hours (published prime shift hours) of your IBM support center. (This assistance is not available to your users.) IBM provides Severity 1 assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For additional details, see the IBM Support Guide. Software Subscription and Support does not include assistance for the design and development of applications, your use of programs in other than their specified operating environment, or failures caused by products for which IBM is not responsible under the applicable agreements.
