A few things to keep in mind: • It is mandatory that all clothing pack is non-cotton. The exception to this is underwear. When cotton gets wet it stays wet and cold for a long time. Wool and synthetic materials, on the other hand, continue to keep you warm while wet. Even though it is summer, where we are going the temperature will be quite cool in morning and at night. After a long day of sweating or a rain shower it is important that we can stay warm without having to change. Look for fabrics that are , propylene or wool.

• Buying gear can get pretty expensive, but you don’t need to spend a lot of money. You can get good non-cotton clothing in the athletic sections at Target, Wal-Mart, T.J. Maxx or Marshalls.

• If you have ANY questions about clothing or equipment please call. We want your teen to be prepared so that we can keep them safe!
