Hughley and Aries Spears as they headline Shaquille O’Neal Presents All Star Comedy Jam along with a crop of talented comedy veterans. Tickets are on sale today and available at Ticketmaster.com and the San Manuel Box Office for $30 and $40. D.L .Hughley D.L. Hughley credits the stage, radio, television and silver screen for his success. As one of the most popular and highly recognizable standup comedians to date, Hughley has been a household name since his four successful years starring in his own sitcom, The Hughleys in 1998. Soon after, D.L. embarked on a national tour with comedy heavyweights Bernie Mac, Steve Harvey and Cedric the Entertainer. The tour and namesake feature film launched him into superstardom. His resume includes a comedy reign that spans from Comedy Central Weekends at the DL, host of the BET Awards and HBO’s Def Comedy Jam in 2008, a drama series on NBC Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and more recently as morning show host for New York’s WYKS-FM. Aries Spears From a young age, Aries Spears was the funnyman of his household, impersonating family members at the dinner table during holidays. At the age of 14, Aries was belting out his fresh stylings in front of paying audiences in his home state of New Jersey. His talent rose as he appeared on Russell Simmon’s Def Comedy Jam on HBO and Showtime at the Apollo. After moving to Los Angeles, Spears starred in television projects and then hit his jackpot when he landed a regular spot on Fox’s Mad TV, where he thrived for eight seasons. Arnez J Arnez J dreamt of becoming a professional baseball player, but it was when he took a job as a flight attendant that he realized he had the ability to keep the passengers and crew howling in their seats with his dead-on impressions. At one point in his comedy career, the Harlem Globetrotters took notice, and recruited the young comic. A minor knee injury sent him back to his hometown of Atlanta to focus solely on comedy. He was named HOTLANTA’s funniest newcomer, and has appeared in television series such as The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show, Louie Anderson’s Comedy Showcase, Comedy Central’s Make Me Laugh, NBC’s Friday Night Videos and many more. Bruce Bruce His comedy start began as a Frito-Lays salesman, where Bruce Bruce would perform comedy sets during the company’s corporate meetings. Bruce eventually brought his routine to the Comedy Act Theater in Atlanta, which ignited his career. He performed in BET’s Coast to Coast, and in 1993 appeared on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, followed by an impressive jaunt on the Showtime at the Apollo. He has appeared in feature films including Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector, and XXX: State of the Union with Ice Cube. More recently, he was seen in TBS’s Comedy You Can Believe In. DeRay Davis DeRay Davis has a long list of comedy film credits including Life As We Know It, Semi-Pro, Old Dogs, Imagine That, License to Wed, Scary Movie 4, Barbershop 1 &2, and Johnson Family Vacation. Born in Chicago, he was first noticed by Hollywood at Atlanta’s Laffapalooza Festival, and shortly after began touring on the Cedric the Entertainer Tour. His recording side came out when he wrote and performed the comedy skits on Kanye West’s LPs Late Registration and The College Dropout. He performed at the 2006 Grammy Awards with Kanye West and Jamie Foxx. Every Thursday night with headliner entertainment, San Manuel gives away $1,000 just for seeing the show.
