As students embark upon and continue through Ursinus Quest, we encourage you to engage in discussions- early and often- about post-graduate development, life planning, decision making and goal setting. As you consider department and classroom initiatives, please encourage student participation in CPD programming. This will help our students reflect upon and develop answers to the question of “What Will I Do?”.

FALL STUDENT AND EMPLOYER MIXER September 9, IDC 1st Floor Lobby, 6:30pm Optional Prep Session, 6:10pm A number of organizations do their hiring for summer internships/entry-level positions for seniors in the Fall. Other organizations like to meet students early to build relationships for when they begin hiring. All students are invited to attend this pilot program designed to connect students with these “early” employers in an informal way. This is not a career fair - just a relaxed way to mingle with employers, some of whom are alumni, over snacks. A sampling of attending organizations includes Vertex Inc., Vanguard, Peace Corps, Merck, and Iron Mountain. Please encourage your students to join the newest member of the CPD team, Olivia Correll, Assistant Director for Employer Engagement for an optional prep session at 6:10pm for tips on navigating a room, introducing yourself, and asking the most effective questions.
