The rest of the day saw him running errands for himself, hurrying home to Rockwell, and rushing off with Ann Cecille to Manila Hotel for the district handover program that ended just an hour shy of Cinderella time, before driving to Tagaytay for a weekend R & R 01 that began at 1:30 AM on Day 2. Realizing that he had been up and about and on his feet for the better part of Day 1 made him remark, with a chuckle, that it looked like a foretaste of every day of the year ahead.
