The new officers for 2018-19, from left, are Tailtwister Ben Best, Vice President Robert Hudson, President Randy Byrd, District Governor Don Eggert, Treasurer Nat Johnson, Secretary Lindsey Boone and Lion Tamer Donnie Parker. The Mary Stewart Lions Club had a busy month. Members also were quite busy during the annual 301 Yard Sale when they sold hot dogs and snacks along with cold drinks. Club members expressed their appreciation for the community’s support of club projects that raise funds to help those in the community who are less fortunate, especially those who are visually impaired. Bottom right, Lion Randy Byrd, right, installed the Mary Stewart Lions Club’s newest member, Rebecca Tart, center, during a June 18 meeting.
