It was formed in May 2014 with three members: Rahul Solanki, Aarush Purabiya, Mujeeb Shaikh and five months later they welcomed their guitarist Tushar Verma into the band. • The band is named after the first three members of the band; the initials of their first names make up the first half of the band name. The logo, conceptualized by Mujeeb Shaikh, includes a “र” (a Sanskrit alphabet,) “A” (Meem “M” sound in the Urdu language) ”م“ an English alphabet) and) and the logo stands for the unity that exists between people despite the difference in cultures and beliefs. • The band has two vocalists, Rahul who sings at a low octave and Aarush, who sings at a higher octave and together they create magic on stage. Rahul and Aarush have been singing together since childhood and hence, their duets are always harmonious and in sync. • RAM-Trio’s other members are Mujeeb The Sufi, The Poet, The Lyricist, He is a percussionist and a primary Songwriter and Music Arranger/Producer of RAM-Trio and Tushar, a freestyle guitarist. • Rahul Vinod Solanki: He is a versatile singer/composer and plays keyboard. Rahul comes from a family of musicians. Brought up in a musical environment of his father Mr.Vinod Dalpad Solanki and Guruji Ustad M.Rashid. He is quick in composing songs and changes singing style as per the songs requirements. • Inspirations: Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, A.R.Rehman, Lata Mangeshker, Mohd.Rafi, Kishor Kumar, Sukhwinder Singh, Sonu Nigam & Kailash Kher.
