Local History Week 2 - 9 March 2019

Local History Week is a national event that aims to increase awareness of local history and encourage all members of the local community to take part.

The event is a great way for groups to highlight their local history and for local people to get involved. So come along to the events in East Dunbartonshire - you’ll be amazed at what you’ll discover!

East Dunbartonshire Art Exhibition Thomas Muir Coffee Shop

A second chance to view the 2018 East Dunbartonshire Schools Art Exhibition, with over 2,000 entries shortlisted down to 25 finalists. Pupils were asked to create an artwork inspired by the early years of the , which was the period during which Thomas Muir lived. Professionally mounted and framed with the assistance of East Dunbartonshire Arts Council.
