Go to this website: plainfieldcommunityconsolidatedil.springboard.org.
Enter the User Name and Password that has been provided to you.
Main Menu:
I have made the Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry SpringBoard books available to you under the 1.0 eBooks tab. Please recall that you can also access the Algebra 2 SpringBoard pages by going to the appropriate Unit folder on my website. You will click on the My Calendar & Assignments tab for the lesson checks I will be providing. You will click on the My Progress Reports tab to review results of your lesson checks. Click on the House in the top left-hand corner to return to this Main Menu. Click on Logout in the top right-hand corner to exit the Online SpringBoard system. Click on the Person (under the House in the top left-hand corner) to see your account information. Don’t worry about the Worshops or ZINC tabs. I don’t believe you will use these options.
Doing a “Lesson Check”:
To complete a “lesson check,” click on the My Calendar & Assignments tab. The system will default to the current date. Lesson Checks will appear on your screen based upon accessibility and due dates. So if you don’t find a particular lesson check try clicking on the date it was assigned or due. Assignments you have completed will have a check mark and clicking on the link will take you through the questions and answers (once I have closed and released the scores for that assignment.) Assignments you still need to complete will have no check mark. Clicking on the link for a non- completed lesson check will guide you through the process to complete the usually 3 question multiple choice assignment.
Accessing Options Using Quick Links:
Once you have clicked on a tab from the Main Menu, you will see the option you have selected in the top right-hand corner. Clicking on that spot will provide a drop down for you to navigate to another option or to Logout.
Running a Report:
To run a report, select My Progress Reports tab from the Main Menu or choose Reports from the right-hand corner quick link. Select your class, Activity Quizzes Report, and choose the lesson. Then click Show Report. A sample of this report is shown on the next page.
Viewing a Report:
On your report, you will only be able to see your score; however, at the bottom of the report, you will be able to see which questions you got right (i.e. Green checkmarks), and you will see a count of how many students got the question correct in the class. For this test run, I had only 3 fake people in the class to do this lesson check.
