The report was prepared for section 46 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, in accordance with the requirements of that Act and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Act 1983. It was approved by the Board on 11 September 2019 and provides a comprehensive review of the ABC’s performance and delivery in line with its Charter remit. The ABC continues to be the home and source of Australian stories, told across the nation and to the world. The Corporation’s commitment to innovation in both storytelling and broadcast delivery is stronger than ever, as the needs of its audiences rapidly evolve in line with technological change. Q: The announcement specifically references “Shrek,” “Kung Fu Panda,” “Madagascar,” and “How to Train Your Dragon.” Will characters from other DreamWorks movies also be incorporated into onboard programming? A: At this time we will only have characters from these movies integrated into our programming but as DreamWorks introduces other franchises into the market, we will review this to keep our programming fresh and new for our guests. Q: Which ships will feature the DreamWorks experience? A: At this time, DreamWorks programming will only be featured on Allure of the SeasSM, Oasis of the Seas®, Freedom of the Seas®, and Liberty of the Seas®. Q: Is there a timeline for when the programs will begin to be offered onboard the Royal Caribbean ships? A: The DreamWorks programming will launch with the debut of Allure of the Seas in December 2010. The programs will be rolled out to the other ships during the first quarter of 2011.
