It specifically provides the full design of the content that will be required to achieve the future state of NASCAR digital content. This starts with a more detailed view of the content model. Then, the definition of content components focuses on the elements that comprise different types of content that will be required to feed this content to the components on the page. They do not specify presentation in any way. Each content type is broken down into all the elements and fields, both metadata and content, that will be required. In addition to defining the content component design, this document also includes a representation of the CMS branching structure and taxonomy. Finally, this document lists the metadata that will be driven by a controlled vocabulary via dropdowns or multiselect lists. It also provides the values for these controlled metadata tags (gathered as of February 2012). Note: This document is a living document that may be further refined and added to as further design details are completed.
