Overall Purpose of Job ● To provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team as required, ensuring confidentiality at all times when handling sensitive information. Person reports to: Head Teachers PA The post-holder may be required to work additional hours to meet the needs of the post and the school. _________________________________________________________________________ Key Tasks and Accountabilities SLT Support 1. To minute meetings as required by the Senior Leadership Team. 2. To be responsible for all administration around exclusions, exclusion appeals and hearings, including exclusion letters, papers for hearings and liaison with governors and the Local Authority (LA). 3. To be responsible for the appraisal spreadsheet, ensuring that observations are conducted in a timely manner and emailing reminders. 4. To ensure that the intervention registers are updated. 5. To support SLT members during the departmental and pastoral review process, collating teacher/student voice and minuting meetings. 6. To organise spreadsheets for school events (e.g. groupings for INSET days, staff lists, educational visit records etc.) 7. To be responsible for staff duty rotas in liaison with the Pastoral Assistant Head. 8. To be responsible for the administration of reading tests (organising equipment, contacting the company, booking the rooms etc.) 9. To organise and analyse data (other than TA data) as required (e.g. reading test results, learning walks, student and parent voice exercises). 10. To set up CPD sessions as requested, contacting external providers if necessary, meeting and greeting, setting up rooms and organising cover where necessary. 11. To ensure that an accurate log of internal and external CPD/training is kept and updated as required. 12. To ensure that refreshments are coordinated for key meetings. General 1. To assist the office staff at times of high pressure (e.g. during the height of the transition process etc.) 2. To undertake such other duties which lie within the post-holders competency and contribute to the learning environment within the school, which may be required from time to time.
