Most of the sales take place on credit. Majority of sales (48%) takes place before sowing of kharif, as banana and Cotton are major crops of this area. 50% of surveyed dealers deals in national/multinational branded products 36% deal in local brands and 14% deals keep both the local and national brands to meet different requirements of market. Under the present investigation it was found that most of the dealers are unsatisfied with theplacement re policy of micro irrigation companies and brand price, quality and past experience are the major factors the purchase of drip irrigation. Bhole Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Arts and Science College Ainpur Dist.- Jalgaon (M.S.) Introduction – Age structure of population in a region is a demographic attribution of a social group. It is necessary to understand its role in the analysis of migration and population growth. A high percentage of juvenile and senile population indicates the burden on the working groups and it is an indicator of a less developed society. In Jalgaon district 38.81 % Muslim population were juvenile 56.27 % adult and 4.92% senile. Study Region – Jalgaon is one of the thirty-five districts of Maharashtra situated at the northern most border of the state. It is apart of east while region of Bombay presidency. Jalgaon district lies in the North Westpart of Maharashtra state lying between 200 and 210 north latitude and 74055’ and 76028’ east longitude is located in the Tapi river basin stretching nearly 128 kms. Along the river and varying in the breadth from 112 kms. To 144 kms. It covers an area of the jalgaon district is 11765.00 sq.kms. Which constitute 3.82 % of the total area of the state. Administratively it has 15 tahsils viz. Chopda, Yawal, Raver, Mukatainagar, Bodwad, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Erandol, Dharangaon, Amalner Parola, Bhadgaon, Chalisgaon, Pachora and Jamner.
