Dr. Mohsin Jaffer is a family practitioner, philanthropist and former voluntary clinical assistant Dr. William P. Murphy Jr. is chairman of the board of U.S. Stem Cell Inc., a pioneer in the professor in the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. research and development of stem cell and regenerative medical treatment for patients with degenerative diseases. Jaffer currently serves in several capacities within the health care industry. Murphy also served as the chairman and CEO of Hyperion, Inc., a medical Community Care Clinic, which provides free primary health care to low-income, uninsured diagnosis company. South Floridians. Murphy is the recipient of a number of honors, including the prestigious Lemelson-MIT Jaffer and his wife are committed to international charity through the Mohsin and Fauzia Jaffer Lifetime Achievement Award; the MIT Corporate Leadership Award; the Distinguished Service Foundation. FIU alumnus Malcolm Butters ‘83 is president and co-founder of Butters Construction & John McKibbon is chairman of the McKibbon Hotel Group Inc., the third generation to Development, Inc., a real-estate firm engaged in the construction, development, investment, head the family company founded in 1926.
