Monterey, California, Jan. 7, 2016 – , the No. 7-ranked player the world, and Patrick Reed, ranked No. 10, have confirmed they are playing in the 2016 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the week of Feb. 8-14, pushing the total number of players from the Official World Golf Ranking Top-10 list to six.

Rose and Reed will join No. 1 , No. 3 , No. 4 and No. 8 . They enhance one of the most talented professional fields in the recent history of the iconic PGA TOUR event, to be played at Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and the Monterey Peninsula Country Club’s Shore Course.

“Adding Justin Rose and Patrick Reed to an already incredibly strong field will increase ticket sales, which in turn, will help to raise more money for our community,” said Steve John, Monterey Peninsula Foundation CEO and tournament director.

Rose, of England, who has been a popular figure in the game since he turned professional in 1998, is making his first career tournament appearance at Pebble Beach. A seven-time PGA TOUR winner and the 2013 U.S. Open Champion, he has not played in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am or either of the two most recent U.S. Open Championships (2000, 2010). Rose is a two- time competitor and also has eight international victories.

Reed, a member of the 2015 U.S. Team and 2014 U.S. Ryder Cup Team, is a four- time winner on the TOUR. He is making his fourth appearance in the tournament, where as a rookie in 2013 Reed recorded the first career top-10, finishing tied for seventh.
