Nfl Gameday Week 20 NFL GAMEDAY WEEK 20 INDIANAPOLIS COLTS @ NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS -1ST HALF STARS LIKE ANDREW LUCK CARRY TEAMS TO CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES – ONCE THERE, DEPTH MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. ALL THE COLTS GOT OUT OF ROLE PLAYERS LIKE BOOM HERRON AND JOSH CRIBBS WERE MISTAKES. WHILE THE COLTS LACKED DEPTH, THE PATRIOTS WERE DRIVEN BY IT. IN NOVEMBER, RUNNING BACK LEGARRETTE BLOUNT WAS WAIVED BY THE STEELERS. ON SUNDAY, HE LOOKED LIKE A STAR. THE REST OF THE PATRIOTS LOOKED PRETTY GOOD THEMSELVES, JUMPING OUT TO A 14 POINT LEAD. IN THE SECOND QUARTER THE COLTS BENT LIKE A HORSESHOE – BUT THE ONLY THING BROKEN WAS THE PATRIOTS’ MOMENTUM. LEAVE IT TO T.Y. HILTON TO TAKE CARE OF THE COLTS’ BALLS. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS @ NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS-2ND HALF FOR THIRTY MINUTES, THE COLTS HAD WEATHERED THE STORM. BUT IN FOXBORO MASSACHUSETTS, A SMALL SHOWER CAN TURN INTO A MONSOON. THE RAIN GREW HEAVIER. Altonji on February 4, 2015 As I write this less than 24 hours after the stunning end of Super Bowl XLIX, the consensus has completely firmed: Seattle’s decision to throw the ball on the one yard line, with three downs and enough time for Marshawn Lynch to make that final yard was the worst play calling in the history of the Super Bowl and probably of all time in any sport. It erased the miracle of Jermaine Kearse’s reception only moments earlier to set up the Seattle win – which never happened. The Seahawks had a well-fought LawVision INSIGHTS game won… they just had to finish it. This one will be remembered for a long while. Blog So, what does this have to do with the business of law? A lot, actually, on multiple levels: First, the obvious. A lot of good work can be undone by one or a few colossal mistakes.
