Follow Dan and his fiesty sidekick Dolly the Haflinger as they prepare for their first season of British Eventing competition. The ‘Diva-Scale’ Firstly, I would like to say a big thank you for all of your kind comments about my first blog instalment. I’ve shown these to Dolly and, unfortunately, her ego has now escalated to a previously undiscovered level on the ‘Diva-Scale’. I will tell you more about that later. Since we last spoke, Dolly and I have been hard at work preparing for our debut at Kelsall Hill Horse Trials where we are entered for the BE80(T) on Friday 22nd April. and an A4 sized dressage arena - but I I’ve been practising day and night, trying finally think I have cracked it. my hardest to memorise the new BE97 As for Dolly, she has been subjected to a test. She didn’t want to go in to the arena and put on such a show that she resembled a stunt horse in the Moscow State Circus.
