SHORT CVS OF THE MAIN STAFF INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT

Rector of the University, former Vice Rector for Science and Research at Dzemal Bijedic University of . He is a project manager and an avid researcher in the field of sustainable development and renewable energy sources. He graduated from of Mechanical Engineering at Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, where he obtained his MSc and PhD degree. He is Legal Entity Appointed Representative for Dzemal Bijedic of Mostar in REA-A1 (Research Executive Agency) of European Commission in the context of Prof. dr. sc. Elvir Zlomušica HORIZON 2020. As a ex representative of in the field of Secure, clean and efficient energy, he was an expert member of the programme committee in the framework EU programme for research and innovation H2020. He is vice president of Association for renewable energy resources of the Chamber of Commerce of Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation. He was involved with then TEMPUS now Erasmus+ capacity building projects FP6 and other EU funded projects.

Veldin Ovčina is an Associate Professor at Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar and a Vice-Rector for Finance. He formerly served as a Vice-Dean of at the Faculty of for ten years, as well as the Head of Tourism Department in the academic year 2017/2018.

Mr. Ovčina initiated and served as the Head of the Student Practice Program for more than ten years. As a result, he established an exquisite long-term cooperation with numerous enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Furthermore, he created and managed a large number of projects in market research, business planning and marketing campaigns in the field of Dr. sc. Veldin Ovcina agriculture, tourism, production, sales and services, and created several new products for high-ranking companies in BiH.

Finally, he is the author of several research papers in the field of Marketing. He is also a member of the Organization Board or Scientific Advisory Board of a few international scientific conferences and has participated in several marketing and research projects organized by the Office of European Union Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina. For instance, in 2018 he lead a notable project "Click YES for educational reforms in B&H!”, which emphasized the importance of improving cooperation between the universities and enterprises in B&H.

Dr.sc. Irma Dedić, Head of The tourism studies university programme, earned her master’s degree in the field of financial management at the Faculty of Dr. sc. Irma Dedić Economics, „Džemal Bijedić“ University of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina (collaboration with the ) in 2013. In 2017. she defended her doctoral thesis named "Strategy for Restructuring and Rehabilitation of Enterprises in BiH", at the Faculty of Economics of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar. Today, she works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics „Džemal Bijedić“ University of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and her field of interests is Management (crisis management, start-up business modeling, strategic management, contemporary management issues, management in tourism). During the 10 years of teaching process, she has been working as a mentor and a coordinator in the development process of more than 100 student business (and dozens of marketing) projects and has been helping students to start their own business. She is also very acitive member in the NGO sector in B&H and a certified ILO (International labour organization) trainer (Start and improve your business). Selma Loose is an Assistant Professor and Head of Interior Design Studies at Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar. She formerly served as a Head of Fine Arts Department at Education Faculty. Selma Loose completed her master's degree in Fine Arts - Department of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 2012. Her teaching areas and areas of interest are Art education and Painting. Mrs. Loose was one of the initiators, and actively involved in creating Curriculum for the Interior Design Studies in 2015/16 academic year.

Mrs. Loose is actively involved in cooperation with Department of Education in Mostar since 2011. The cooperation includes the issues of primary and secondary education in Arts, organisation of the pupil's art exhibitions, workshops and lectures for primary and secondary school art teachers. Furthermore, Mrs. Loose is co-author of the current Primary School Dr.sc. Selma Loose Curriculum (6th-9th grade) for school subject Art in Herzegovina- Canton.

Mrs. Loose is a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina Association of Visual Artists and Format - Association of Visual Artists Mostar. She exhibited her work in country and abroad, and she is author of University course book for Arts in Primary education related courses, as well as professional papers regarding Art education. Mrs. Loose was member of organising board of the University's and Faculty of Education's International Conference on Education "Changing Reality Through Education" MICE- Mostar.
